Red Zebra Tours visitors stay at Red Zebra Lodge at Kambiri Point. The
lodge is ideal for a casual stay overnight; a family seeking an extended public
holiday weekend; a weekend conference or group meet-up. Many professors, biologists,
zoologists, and other academics from all over the world have stayed at the lodge as
have ornamental fish importers and wild life enthusiasts eager
to see their fishes in their natural habitat.
| The
lodge consists of six double rooms, opening onto a small
verandah - each room is 'en-suite' with shower, toilet and
washbasin with hot and cold running water. (Piped water is
from the lake but boiled and filtered drinking water is
provided by the room staff) The rooms hold 1 double or
2 single beds with mosquito nets and a oscillating
fan. There are ample 220 volt AC electrical outlets for
charging video & camera batteries etc. Three
photos immediately below show interiors of the six room
block.
