Another alternate informal dining opportunity is provided by the Red Zebra Café -located some 15 km north from the Red Zebra Lodge, near to the entrance of Senga Bay's Le Meridien Hotel. Many long term visitors at the Lodge, enjoy having a lunch or dinner here. This Café has established itself as giving excellent value for money and has a regular clientele - particularly from Lilongwe at weekends. The menu is based on known popular dishes and a good range of ice cream desserts is available. Lunches for up to 25 persons at one time can be catered for without difficulty. Frequently groups of persons attending one of the many conferences held at nearby lakeshore hotels and lodges are to be found at the Café - as a preferred alternative to their 'home' dining table.  Red Zebra Café has a Senga Bay number - 01 263 024.
